About MAKE @ MODA

Launching in March 2024, MAKE @ MODA is a series of monthly drop-in, BYOB design sessions. Each month, participants of all skill levels will have the chance to learn about a new medium from a different artist or designer.

Whether you stay twenty minutes or two hours, we encourage you to join us and exercise your creativity in a relaxed environment with a supportive community of fellow designers!

Please note: Red wine is not permitted in the museum.

The cost to attend this event is $5 for Members / $15 for Future Members. Museum admission is included in this price.

  • Mariah is an Atlanta-based multimedia artist, focusing on what she likes to call “intuitive art,” which involves any combination of painting, drawing, collaging, and digital design. With a background in art therapy and global health, she is most interested in the intersection between healing and creativity. Her motto is “you don’t have to be the best to enjoy things,” and she brings this into all of her artwork, where the focus is to learn how to play and have fun again. She uses art as a tool to capture the excitement of being a child and teaches creativity as means to find your way back to yourself.

If you want to see more of her work, check out her Instagram: @coolbeansmariah.
