MEET DAVID TANN!

DESIGNER–
IN–RESIDENCE

MODA is excited to announce David Tann, founder and CEO of creative agency Tantrum, as our first-ever Designer-in-Residence. Over the next five months, Tann will lead workshops and events that explore the intersections of design, technology, culture, and social impact—bringing fresh, inspiring ideas to the Atlanta community. He’ll also hold office hours on Tantrum Thursdays, in which he welcome conversation with fellow designers, students, and other interested in sharing ideas.

Tann, an acclaimed designer with more than 20 years of experience, is passionate about using design to spark change. “I am honored to be named MODA’s first Designer-in-Residence,” says Tann. “This is an incredible opportunity to collaborate with MODA and inspire meaningful connections within our community.”

The residency coincides with MODA’s exhibition CHARACTERS: Type in Action, celebrating the role of typography in social justice movements. We can’t wait to see the conversations and creativity this residency will inspire!
