In-person
Join us as we explore Standing Peachtree (Pakanahuili), where Peachtree Creek flows into the Chattahoochee River with a walk hosted by Drift the Map and MODA!
We'll walk the area of Standing Peachtree and learn more about the history of the land, the Muscogee and Cherokee Nations who used this site as a trading post, and how all Peachtree Streets get their name from this original iconic Atlanta location. We'll also be joined by special guest Jodi Mansbach, the Chair of Chattahoochee NOW. Mansbach has been working to put 53 miles of metro Atlanta’s overlooked riverfront corridor back on the map for recreation and sustainable development.
This event is free for MODA Members, but registration is required. RSVP by clicking the button below!
