About The Event

Every second Sunday, MODA brings its plaza on Peachtree Street to life with exciting, family-friendly design activities!

This August, we’re teaming up with Paint Love, a local nonprofit organization that brings extraordinary arts programming to youth across Metro Atlanta, to present PLAYSCAPES, a fun-filled creative adventure you won’t want to miss!

Design Your Dream Playground:

As we say goodbye to summer, let your imagination run wild and design the playground of your dreams! Using model magic and recycled materials, you can create anything you envision. Whether it’s a spiral slide that reaches the sky, a soaring swing set, or an inclusive playground for people of all abilities, you’ll have the tools to sketch, sculpt, and build an amazing playscape.

Build with Imagination Playground:

Don’t miss playing with MODA’s Imagination Playground, sponsored by WM Events! These large, lightweight foam blocks let you build oversized and unique structures. Perfect for collaborative play, they encourage creativity and teamwork, making your playscape even more extraordinary.

We will have additional activities on the plaza this Sunday Funday, as well:

🎶 Dance the afternoon away with music from The Human DJ on the plaza!

🍧 Enjoy an Italian Ice from Rio’s!

🫧 Grab a wand and fill the sky with bubbles!

🕺 Get your groove on with our hula hoops!

All events on the plaza are free. Enjoy a discounted admission of $5.00 to MODA’s current exhibition, Al Dente: The Design of Pasta from 1:00-5:00 PM!

We are grateful to Midtown Alliance, Paint Love, and WM Events for making this event possible.
