What’s the secret to perfect pasta?

Chef Deborah Kudelka knows!

Italian cuisine is one of her specialties (thanks, in part, to her Italian heritage), and with 25+ years in the culinary arts, she’s ready to teach you how to make beautiful, versatile, and — most importantly — delicious pasta.

By popular demand, we’re partnering with Chow À La Carte once again to present an evening of pasta making (and eating). Join Chef Deborah for an introduction to the basics of this culinary art form, and use what you’ve learned to make your very own pasta. As Chef Deborah prepares dinner, you’ll chat with friends (or make new ones) over canapés and Prosecco.

Once the pasta is ready, you will enjoy a dinner with Chef Deborah, complete with wine, salad, and, of course, their pasta! The meal will be followed with Chef Deborah’s tiramisu and a digestivo of limoncello.

Admission to this event is limited, and Members receive priority registration.
Future Members will gain access to tickets on July 1.

The cost to attend this event is $115 for MODA Members and $130 for Future Members.

It includes the following:

  • Ingredients for pasta making

  • Instruction on pasta making

  • Canapés and an aperitivo

  • A dinner featuring pasta, two sauces, salad, and wine

  • A dessert of tiramisu

  • A digestivo (Chef Deborah’s own limoncello)

  • Pasta and a small jar of pesto to take home

Please note that registration for this event is extremely limited and will close one week prior to event start.

  • Deborah Kudelka’s passion for food and art came at a very young age. Her mother was Italian, and her father was Polish.

Her summers were spent visiting her mother’s family in Italy and France, and she considers herself very lucky to have had such early exposure to fantastic food and wonderful art

She studied fine art and was fortunate to see the works of great masters in museums across England, France, and Italy. Then came food. Her palate developed around Italian, French, and Polish cuisine.

She attended culinary school and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Le Cordon Bleu. After working for various catering companies and restaurants, she finally opened her own little restaurant in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market (Ciao Bocca). She now works as a private chef.
