Ages 10 – 13
In-person at Georgia Tech
How do we build cities that are smarter, greener, and more connected? In City Lab: Wired for the Future, you’ll explore how technology is transforming urban life.
From smart systems to cutting-edge infrastructure, you'll discover the ways tech can make our cities better places to live. Throughout the week, you’ll use LEGO® bricks and LEGO® Spike robotics to build your very own tech-driven cityscapes.
Get hands-on with projects that reimagine urban design, create solutions for modern challenges, and bring your futuristic ideas to life. Let’s innovate together and design the cities of tomorrow!
Campers will learn to:
Discover how technology influences city planning and infrastructure, including smart technologies like sensors, data analytics, and automation.
Use LEGO® Spike robotics and 3D modeling to create tech-driven city elements. Design interactive models and prototypes that reflect futuristic city features.
Engage in activities such as building simple robots, programming, and designing smart solutions for urban challenges.
At the end of the week, parents and caregivers are invited for a showcase of the campers’ creations!
What to Bring:
Campers should bring a water bottle, snacks, and lunch.
