About This Camp

Get ready to make your mark on the world—literally! In City Lab: Art in Action, you’ll dive into the vibrant world of public art and discover how it can transform neighborhoods and bring people together.

From murals that tell stories to sculptures that spark conversation, you’ll explore the many ways art can brighten public spaces and inspire communities.

Throughout the week, you’ll create your own unique pieces of public art, working on projects designed to make an impact and add beauty to shared spaces. Let’s turn our surroundings into a colorful canvas and bring creativity to the streets!

Campers will learn to:

  • Discover various types of public art and their impact on communities.

  • Use a range of materials and techniques to create your own public art pieces.

  • Design and build sculptures, murals, and other art installations that can brighten up any space.

  • Engage in hands-on activities such as collaborative art projects.

At the end of the week, parents and caregivers are invited for a showcase of the campers’ creations!
