Ages 10 – 13

In-person at Georgia Tech

About This Camp

Explore how people move through cities and across the globe!

From subways and bike lanes to airports and autonomous vehicles, young designers will examine the systems that connect communities and keep cities moving.

Using LEGO SPIKE robotics, they’ll build creative and efficient models of future transit systems that are accessible, sustainable, and smart.

Campers will learn to:

  • Investigate different modes of transportation and how they shape cities

  • Explore real-world challenges like traffic congestion and transit equity

  • Use LEGO SPIKE robotics, design tools, and creative materials to prototype transit solutions

  • Learn how real-world examples in Atlanta and beyond are making cities easier to navigate

  • Work in teams to design systems that are efficient, inclusive, and innovative

At the end of the week, parents and caregivers are invited for a showcase of the campers’ creations!

What to Bring:

  • Campers should bring a water bottle, snacks, and lunch.

Tuition: $450 | $350 for MODA Members at the Family & Friends Level or above
