About This Camp
In Art Adventures: City Planners, campers will step into the role of urban designers as they create their very own city models. Using craft materials like cardboard, paint, paper, and recycled items, campers will design and build imaginative cityscapes, complete with roads, parks, buildings, and more!
Campers will learn about the elements that make a city function, such as transportation, green spaces, and community areas. By the end of the week, they’ll use creativity and curiosity to bring inclusive, sustainable cities to life and gain an appreciation for how cities are planned and built.
At the end of the week, parents and caregivers are invited for a showcase of the campers’ creations!
Campers will learn to:
Design and build city models using a variety of craft materials
Explore the features of well-planned cities
Discuss concepts like renewable energy and green spaces
Collaborate with fellow campers to design a community together
At the end of the week, parents and caregivers are invited for a showcase of the campers’ creations!
