About the Event

Do you enjoy bringing stories to life by drawing, sketching, and hand-lettering? Do you want to learn about how you can take those skills and turn them into a career?

Sketchnotes are rich visual notes incorporating a mix of handwriting, shapes, and visual elements. They are often used to provide visualalize in informative videos or to contextualize speaker events.

During this workshop, you will learn and practice 3 basic principles of sketch notes to capture and communicate information effectively. You will also get a glimpse of the industry and how you can use visual notes to study and self-learn.

About Alejo Porras

Alejo wanted to learn all the languages in the world... so he learned to draw.

Today he uses his drawing skills to help people and brands communicate their message, engage their audiences, and inspire people to action. He does this through visual notes and summaries.

Born and raised in Costa Rica, he now lives in Atlanta with his wife, son, cat, fish and whichever wild animal comes to have a bite at his vegetable garden.

Registration Fee: $5
