AI for Equity: Shaping a Diverse Virtual World

  • MODA 1315 Peachtree Street Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30309 United States (map)

In-Person

How can AI pave the way for a more just and equitable virtual world?

Join us for an engaging hands-on workshop exploring how AI image generation can break down stereotypes and promote diversity.

Jeremiah Long, founder of Wedge, will kick off this workshop with a call to action for diverse creatives to shape the AI world being built. He will show us ways that Wedge is empowering underrepresented individuals to use emerging technology to nurture and revolutionize machine learning.

Then get ready to jump in and try things out for yourself! Learn the basics of AI (or use skills you already have) at Artmaking Stations. You'll create cool pieces AND help train private AI models to be more reflective of our world. MODA Design experts will be on hand to guide you. And, you'll have a chance to share your design before wrapping up with a Q&A.
