About This Event

How does branding, art, design, graffiti, skateboarding, and soda come together to make something deliciously cool?

To find out, join us as we ‘consume creativity’ and discover the whimsical world of Atlanta-based company, MADPOP— a seriously fun brand that is redefining the soda pop industry with thoughtful design!

What to Expect:

  • Connect with your fellow design enthusiasts and hear firsthand from international artist and founder of MADPOP, Greg Mike. As he shares how MADPOP came to life, enjoy a lively conversation in an up-close interview-style event.

  • Learn from Greg Mike as he speaks to the power of design, his art practice, and the details that went into creating MADPOP’s playful packaging. He'll also elaborate on how deeply art & design infuse the business side of things. Finally, you’ll learn how MADPOP gives back to underfunded public schools with art supplies.

  • Give and Receive - Attendees will enjoy a festive and fizzy complimentary tasting of MADPOP soda and other bubbly drinks, shop in MODA’s popular Design Shop, and experience the current exhibition THREADS of CHANGE: Design & Data.

About Greg Mike & MADPOP

Greg Mensching, aka Greg Mike discovered the power of public art during childhood trips to NYC. Fascinated by the energy of mid-century American cartoons, he began merging his love for street art with skate culture, developing his signature style—vivid explosions of incandescent color through a Surrealist Pop Art lens.

Greg Mike announced the MADPOP brand with his “Popstars” solo show, featuring 100 hand-painted aluminum cans. Since then, his work has gained global recognition, with murals in cities around the world. With MADPOP, Greg invites consumers to embrace bold self-expression and inject fun into everyday life.
