Virtual | Ages 13 – 17
Join MODA for a virtual Afterschool Studio in which outer space meets interior design!
In this virtual studio, young designers will explore a universe of possibilities while redesigning their room. They’ll learn about futuristic interior design and create a mood board that reflects their wildest ideas for an outer-space themed room. Then, they’ll use the Homestyler platform to create 3D models of their spaced-out sanctuary.
Along the way, participants will share their ideas with one another and the instructor.
In This Afterschool Studio, you will:
learn about futuristic and space-themed interiors
use a mood board for design planning and brainstorming
use Homestyler to make 3D models
learn fundamental interior design skills and how to apply them
practice giving and receiving kind and constructive feedback
practice collaboration, inclusivity, creative courage, imaginative
problem-solving, storytelling, and critical thinking
