Salt & Spirits: A Whiskey Tasting with Dad's Whiskey Stash

  • Museum of Design Atlanta 1315 Peachtree Street Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30309 United States (map)

In-person at MODA

About the Event:

Ever wonder why one whiskey label makes you reach for the bottle and another doesn't? Or how salt taxes helped decide which cities became trade routes and which didn't?

Salt & Spirits takes the ideas from MODA's current exhibition, SALT: A Design Story, and pours them into your glass. Troy Bell, founder of Dad's Whiskey Stash and an award winning Executive Bourbon Steward, leads a seated tasting through three whiskeys, each one tied to a theme from the gallery: how process shapes a spirit, how design shapes a bottle, and how place shapes a city's drinking history.

This event is a fundraiser benefiting MODA, organized by MODA Board Member Neisha Bell and Troy Bell, founder of Dad’s Whiskey Stash.
